Event Description: ACMP Texas, San Antonio/Austin Regional Event: Leading Change From the Inside - Helping Your Teams Manage Change.
Join us at 5:45 PM for Social Time and 6 PM for Presentation Start Time.
Presentation Details: According to Prosci, “A change manager will play a key role in ensuring projects (change initiatives) meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage.” As change managers, we are focused on driving adoption, ROI, creating value, and supporting our clients through change.
But what happens when change affects the change manager and project team? Have you ever been on a team with leadership changes? Or had new team members join or leave mid-way through the project? As change management professionals, we help others navigate change and might forget about managing change on our own teams!
In this interactive workshop, Leading Change from Inside - Helping Your Teams Manage Change, Alex Barra & Briana Guerrero will help change managers identify opportunities to support change using Tuckman's Team Development Model and promote development of high performing teams. Case studies from real teams will be provided along with the approach used and value created.
After this session, you will be able to identify where your team is in the Team Development Model, leverage tools and techniques to navigate the different stages of development, and ensure your team is on the right path to becoming a high performing team.
